You can sit and stare at the sky all day

There may be clouds, moving slowly.

Drifting, as time passes by

Or a bright sun, hot and summery. Lovely.

A sky as blue as the ocean

Or hazy and weary.

Snow or fail falling in fast motion.

Or rain? All dreary.

You can sit and stare at the sky all night

But the night sky is different. Special.

The stars and moon twinkle and light

Up the night sky. It's on another level.

How is it so
That with happiness
You make me glow?
My heart races
Whenever you're around,
The sadness seems less
I get up from the ground,
You take my heart places.

Not once have I seen cases
That quite resemble this one.
Even when I'm a mess,
When I want to be alone,
I still want to feel your touch.
I want you near.

I want you to love me.

I may be asking too much.
But I want only you

Don't leave me, soon you will see,
That I'm the one for you too.

No man has ever made me feel,
Not in the way you have succeeded.
